reinhard alexander weiss – director


Reinhard Weiss graduated from the Polytechnical School for Architecture in Munich before completing a three year post-graduate diploma course in economics for the construction industry. He later completed his Masters for Architecture at Greenwich. From 1990 he worked for several years at the leading architectural practices of Schmidt-Schicketanz & Partner, where he soon became project architect for corporate clients as DBV – German Civil Service Insurance and AOK Health Insurance, for whom he designed and managed the set up of new dependencies in Eastern Germany. He joined the award-winning practice Stephan Braunfels Architects in 1993 and worked on the ëMuseum of the 20th Centuryí in Munich. He worked on the winning competition for the New German Government Building for MPs in Berlin, before moving to the UK. With the well known London-based practice ORMS he worked on a variety of residential & commercial projects, before he became an associate with the leading city firm Pringle Brandon Architects and was responsible for a range of commercial fit-outs and hotel buildings. In 2000, Reinhard established 3s architects partnership before setting up 3s architects and designers. Both his private residences White House I and II have been published in the UKís leading architectural magazines, on television and in two best-selling design books.

paul stanley – assistant director


Paul graduated from the University of Bath with first class honours in Architecture in 1999, spending a year at the Technische University of Graz, Austria. He completed his Postgraduate Diploma in Architecture with Distinction in 2003 at the University of Sheffield. Whilst working for Building Design Partnership and WS Atkins, Paul specialised in the design of Schools. He received his professional qualifications with Commendation in 2006. From 2003-2009 Paul worked for ORMS as project architect on a range of projects including: Carlyon Bay new build mixed use development; major refurbishment and extension of a Grade I Listed Crescent in Bath; New façade and shell & core development of Primark’s flagship store in Oxford Street; Maidwell Preparatory School new music department and dormitories; as well as a number of office refurbishments and new build private residential projects. Paul joined 3S Architects and Designers as a senior architect in 2009, and became an Associate in 2013, specialising in the concept and planning design stages of residential and mixed use developments.

robert moore – senior architect


robert gained a diploma of architecture merit at the university of plymouth, studied at the westminster school of architecture, is registered with ARB and is a chartered member of the RIBA. he won RIBA presidents medals competition 2006, RIBA southern region award 2006 and RIBA barrington smith award. before he has joined 3s, he has worked for several years at known practices in london as a senior architect. robert is a pivotal force within 3s and has worked on a variety of projects ranging from commercial to high-end residential. he is currently responsible for several private home projects to provide detailed construction information as well as ensuring attention to on-site queries. robert helped ensuring the initial multiple development scheme in hampton as well as six detached residential dwellings in hillingdon. he has unique experience combining creativity and good eye for design with implementations through solid technical detailing. he has gained vast experience whilst working on the olympics 2012 international broadcast centre. apart from being able to speak japanese, he is a dedicated semi-professional cyclist and holds the elite category racing licence.

elina loukou  – project architect


elina graduated at the architecture school and technical university of athens in 2007 before moving to london to work in a high profile architectural practice on various schemes from conception to completion. before joining 3s in 2016, she completed a master of arts in interior design at the royal college of art in London in 2014. whist there, she won two competitions. her responsibilities included interior design concepts, material specification and completion of technical detail construction drawings by assisting on various residential projects.

elina ceijere – architectural assistant


elina studied art in latvia before taking-up her professional degree in architecture at the riga building college. she completed her degree in architecture technology and construction management in denmark, before adding a master’s degree in architectural design and urban planning in milan, italy to her educational journey. since joining 3s in 2015, she worked on a variety of residential projects. she was assisting on intermediate design stages up to planning stage as well as visualisations for several current projects.

jelena sipka – architectural designer


jelena holds a masters in architecture from the university of belgrade, serbia and she is registered with ARB, uk. prior to joining 3s in june 2015 she worked for 3 years as architectural assistant for an architectural practice in belgrade, as well as a london firm where she was involved in different residential and office projects for her country and the uk. her responsibilities range from interior and furniture designs, material selection and specifications to producing working drawings on the basis of initial sketches. at 3s she is assisting on a range of residential projects across all work stages whether refurbishments or new built. she enjoys interactions with clients and contractors to see the designs become reality.

joanna combes – office manager


joanna has worked as a PA & office manager for a variety of companies in the greater london area, amongst these are some of the industry leaders in design and building management specifically involved in some of london’s iconic skyline including tower 42, the gherkin and the shard. upon joining 3s in early 2017, she is responsible for supporting all the team in office management, finance and ensuring the team deliver the highest level of service to our clients.

mario schaffhauser – marketing and business assistant


mario studied law in graz, austria before deciding to move to the uk to develop his personal as well as language skills. whilst working at mercedes-benz in the legal and human resources department, he gained valuable administrative experience and has been in contact with international clients through mercedes’ continuing driving events. mario joined our team in February 2016 specially responsible for all marketing related tasks as well as assisting in extending our company profile.
